The IMS girls basketball team continues their search for their first win of the season tonight when they host Louisa-Muscatine in conference play.
IMS enters tonight’s game at 0-5 on the year. In their last game, Iowa Mennonite fell to Columbus on the road Friday night 60-20. IMS was led in the game by Rachel Miller with six points. Miller and Jess Bender each lead IMS with six points per game, Bender also leads IMS with five rebounds per contest.
Louisa-Muscatine is 2-2 on the season entering tonight. The Falcons dropped their last contest 52-41 to Mediapolis on Friday night. Carter Randyn led L-M with eight points in the game. Mariah Pugh is the leading scorer for the Falcons on the year, the freshman is averaging seven points per game. Last year Louisa-Muscatine swept both games with IMS, winning 37-28 in Letts and 34-28 in Kalona.
