First, it was Republican candidate for the presidential nomination Rick Santorum who visited Keota High School. Next, Democratic hopeful Martin O’Malley went to the school. Now, Democratic front runner Hillary Clinton will be making a campaign stop in Keota.

This fall three students in Schuyler Snakenberg’s sociology class invited presidential candidates as part of a project where they learned about the political process. The students created a twitter campaign in an effort to attract the attention of Clinton by using the handle #KeotaHopesForHillary. Sources say Clinton will be there December 22.
