Christmas is going green at the Washington Public Library. The annual recycling project with librarian Jenisa Hanson this year will be transforming an old book into a Christmas tree. The event is free and open to all ages on December 19th at 10 a.m.
Looking ahead to the holidays, director of the library Debbie Stanton recommends books as gifts. She adds if you need help selecting a book for someone, stop by the front desk of the library and staff should be able to point you in the right direction.
