Officials with the Winfield-Mt. Union Schools say a student brought a knife to school on Thursday. Staff members at the school acted quickly to bring the incident under control and no injuries were reported.

School officials say procedures continue to be evaluated to help ensure the safety of the students and staff in the district. KCII News will have more information as it becomes available.
