Join KCII’s Big Red Radio on the square in Washington today for Halloween festivities. The Chamber of Commerce’s trick-or-treat around the square begins at 5 p.m. with the winner of the library’s pumpkin decorating contest as grand marshal.
Michelle Redlinger, director of the Washington Chamber of Commerce, adds there will be activities after the parade of costumes, including games at the YMCA, hayrides, pony rides and more. All of the activities are free. Redlinger adds people from surrounding communities are welcome and often attend.
Washington’s city-wide trick-or-treat will be held Saturday from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
