During last week’s Columbus Junction City Council meeting, members had a light agenda. They heard a report from Bev Neilsen, Chairman of the Park and Recreation Board. Neilsen updated council members on the clean up day planned for this week at Monkey Run Park.

The Clean up day will be held this Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. Anyone interested in volunteering to help with the clean up is asked to contact Columbus Junction Community Development Director Mallory Smith to be placed on a team. Smith can be reached at city hall by calling 319-728-7971.
