The Brighton Volunteer Fire Department is holding a fundraiser to raise money for new equipment.

The pancake breakfast is to raise money toward the purchase of a new all terrain vehicle for the department. Brighton Fire Chief Bill Farmer says it is more than just an all-terrain vehicle. This one will be equipped so they can transport injured victims from areas their big trucks cannot get to.

The fundraiser will be held on October 31st, to coincide with the first day of pheasant season. The event will be held from 6:30 to 10 a.m. at the Brighton Community Room.
