Over half of the soybeans in southeast Iowa have been harvested. According to the USDA’s weekly Crop Progress and Condition Report, 61 percent of soybeans in the area have been harvested, three points behind the five-year average. The amount harvested doubled in one week of work. At this time last year, only 35 percent of soybeans in the area had been taken out of the fields.
