Oktober Madness is underway in Washington with events held throughout the month, culminating with Halloween parties and city-wide trick-or-treat on the 31st. The annual Moonlight Madness will be held October 22nd, Michelle Redlinger, director of the Chamber of Commerce explains it is a retail sale event in downtown Washington with “mad” deals from 4 to 8 p.m. The businesses will be lit up outside to designate who is participating.
The Trick-or-Treat Around the Square will start at 5 p.m. Friday, October 30th, and is a free, safe event for families. Children will be able to visit the businesses around the square and there will be a variety of activities following in the park and the YMCA.
