At Wednesday night’s Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk tailgate event the 2015 Homecoming King and Queen were announced.

Mid-Prairie’s 2015 Homecoming Queen is Madison Zahradnek, she is the daughter of Jerry and Traci Zahradnek. While attending Mid-Prairie High School she has been involved in cross country, track, softball, National Honor Society, mentoring and student council. Her future plans are to attend a four year university and major in nursing.

Mid-Prairie’s 2015 Homecoming King is Ben Stone. Stone is the son of Charlie and Jenny Stone. While attending Mid-Prairie High School he has participated in cross country, basketball, track and choir. His future plans are to attend Iowa State University and major in sociology.

Mid-Prairie’s Homecoming activities continue through the rest of the week including the Homecoming football game on Friday night when the No. 10 ranked Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks host the No. 15 West Burlington Notre Dame Falcons.
