Mount Pleasant Police are on the look out for a man who recently attempted to persuade a child to go home with him. According to the department, he was near Old Threshers when he asked a juvenile to help him find his dog and asked them to come to his house to see if it was there.
The police department is describing the suspect as a male in his 50’s with short gray hair and a long gray beard. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black jacket or shirt, black pants and black dress shoes. The department is looking for a “robin egg blue” minivan with tinted windows and a dent above the back tire on the driver’s side that may be the suspect’s.
The department’s investigation into this attempted child enticement case continues and anyone with information is encouraged to call 385-1450.
