Bids for the Mid-Prairie practice facility will be opened tomorrow.

The construction of the building, which will be located next to the high school, is being financed using funds budgeted by the district, a Washington County Riverboat grant and money raised by the Mid-Prairie Athletic Boosters, Bulltown Baseball and Nitro Softball.

Bids will be opened and publicly read at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the high school. Next Monday, a public hearing is being held where the cost, specifications and design of the facility will be covered. Those interested can also examine the design and specifications at the central office between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
