Former WACO High School football players are getting the opportunity to put on pads and take on an old rival. Twenty-year-olds up to those in their 40’s are taking part in tonight’s alumni football game between WACO and Winfield-Mount Union. The third annual game begins at 8 p.m at the Winfield athletic complex.

WACO’s team coordinator Shannon Rugg says except for a few rule changes, it will be a normal high school football game. Rugg, who will have the chance to play with athletes he coached as WACO’s defensive coordinator, says the high school rivalry does play a factor during the alumni game.
