Washington County has the fourth largest 4-H program in the state. Amy Green, 4-H and youth coordinator for Washington County tells KCII News that 419 students are members of 4-H and there are 160 Clover Kids. Looking back at this fair week Green says it has been a great week and she is thankful for wonderful weather.

Green shares there were alternative programs for poultry exhibits this year, since poultry could not be shown due to the avian flu. Poultry posters and photos were shared by students and a rooster crowing contest was also held.

The full interview with Green can be heard during today’s Washington Page. For results from the fair click here and for photos from the week visit KCII’s Facebook page.
