An Iowa legislator is urging the Environmental Protection Agency to increase and revise proposed volume obligations for renewable biofuels under the Renewable Fuel Standard. Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) tells KCII News that he feels the EPA is underestimating the supply of renewable fuel available and by increasing these standards it will lower our dependence on foreign oil. Grassley led a bipartisan group of 36 senators to write to the EPA regarding revising the renewable fuel standard.
