In the months leading up to tomorrow, the end of the fiscal year, small road repairs were completed in Kalona. City Administrator Ryan Schlabaugh says there was a substantial amount of patching done this spring and work was done on North 14th Street and H Place. He says the mill and overlay of B Avenue from Highway 1 to 4th Street is the city’s focus for the fiscal year that begins Wednesday. He says improvements to E Place, South 6th Street and South 14th Street are planned for fiscal year 2017.
