Washington High School has a new championship banner to hang. Yesterday, the girls’ golf team won their third state tournament 24 strokes ahead of the competition. Freshman Sarah Nacos won the Class 4A tournament with a total 155 strokes, seven ahead of the second place finisher from Fairfield. Nacos was the medalist or co-medalist in every meet she competed in this spring.
