The Eagles’ bats were hot, plating 17 runs in four innings for a 17-2 triumph in a four inning affair. The victory snaps a 43 game losing streak for the Eagles, whose last win came on July 7, 2012.
Keota improves their early season record to 1-1 overall. The Eagles are scheduled to take part in a four team tournament on Saturday hosted by the WACO Warriors. First games begin at 10 a.m. in Wayland.
