The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks boys’ soccer team (8-7) went to Solon (11-8) yesterday as they looked to advance in the postseason. The Golden Hawks were shutdown in their first round match losing 3-0.

This was the second time in a row where Mid-Prairie was shut out in a game.

The loss ends the Mid-Prairie season at 8-7. The Golden Hawks will lose nine seniors including Jacob Kukuzke, Jordan Ulin, James Truit, Anthony Gingerich, Heath Schintler, Cody Knepp, Matt McGaffey, Ben Ahrens and Dylan Shrock.
