The Iowa Mennonite School boys’ soccer team (5-8) has one more game before they enter post season play taking on the Williamsburg Raiders (8-5) tonight.
Both teams have scored nearly the same amount of goals this season, with the Raiders scoring 31 goals and IMS recording 30 goals.
IMS is led in scoring by senior Danny Lam with 13 goals and Kirby Shetler has five goals. Senior goalkeeper Kobi Russom comes into the game with 116 saves and a 78 save percentage. Russom has the second most saves in the SEISC- North Conference.
The Raiders are currently on a four-game winning streak, scoring nine goals and giving up just three during the stretch. They are led in scoring by junior Allen Francis and Declan Broeg with seven goals each on the season. Junior goalkeeper Trevor Haasis comes in with 102 saves with an 84 save percentage.
Tonight’s game with IMS versus Williamsburg begins at 5:30 p.m. at Iowa Mennonite School.
