Members of the Wellman City Council are prioritizing a list of projects for a new Capital Improvement Plan. The rankings will be discussed at a work session tonight. According to City Administrator Nick Pacha, street improvements, new equipment for public works, and security cameras for city hall and the Parkside Activity Center are among the items on the list.

He says an open house is being held June 22nd so they can get public input. After that, the council will re-rank the projects and eventually the plan will be formally adopted.

Pacha adds the last Capital Improvement Plan was done in 2001. The Parkside Activity Center and new water plant were among the projects included in that plan.
