In a special session meeting Friday the Washington Community School Board approved $1.1 million in general obligation bonds. The bonds are for the new auditorium project and this was the final step in approving the bonds. Four board members were present for the meeting.

Construction bids for the project will be awarded in June and ground will be broken in July.
