The City of Riverside is currently without a city administrator. Rusty Rogerson submitted his resignation on May 7th, and the city council accepted it at a meeting held Monday.
According to Mayor Bill Poch, Rogerson’s resignation was effective immediately. Poch explains they’re waiting on direction from the city attorney before moving forward to ensure the situation is handled correctly.
Rogerson began serving as city administrator in August of 2012 and recently started his role as economic development director.
