The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls’ and boys’ golf teams starts off the week today with a dual meet versus the Tipton Tigers.

The Mid-Prairie girls come in to this match averaging 225.75 strokes per nine holes and 452 per 18 holes. They are led by junior Allison Wertz who averages 44.75 per nine holes and 91.50 for 18 holes.

Tipton averages 218 strokes per nine holes and 426 per 18 holes. The Tigers are led by sophomore Rylee Conrad at 52.75 strokes for nine holes and 101.50 stokes every 18 holes. 

The dual will be at the Kalona Golf Club, a par 36 for the course. The match will begin at 4 p.m. today.

The Mid-Prairie boys will travel to Tipton for their dual meet. The Golden Hawks average 213 stokes per nine holes and 409 per 18 holes. They are led by Michael Callahan with a 53.5 nine hole average and 102 18 hole average.

Tipton averages 180.25 strokes per nine holes and 351.25 strokes per 18 holes.

The dual will be at the Tipton Golf and Country Club, where par is 36 for nine holes. The meet will begin at 4 p.m. today.
