Looking ahead into this week in Mid-Prairie sports;

The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks boys’ and girls’ track teams will have one final tune up week before districts competition. They will head to Highland for the Huskies home co-ed meet. Teams participating are Lone Tree, Tipton, Keokuk and WACO. The girls will have one more regular season meet as they travel Thursday to Monticello to participate in a River Valley Conference Co-Ed meet at Monicello High School.

The Mid-Prairie boys’ soccer team comes into the week following two wins in a row and will play the West Liberty Comets at home tomorrow. Thursday they will travel up north to face a Monticello team who has won just one game so far this season. The Golden Hawks will end the week with a four team tournament with Washington, Cedar Valley Christian, and Fairfield.

The Mid-Prairie girls’ soccer team will try to end a two game skid coming into this week, as they play the West Liberty Comets tomorrow at West Liberty High School.

The Mid-Prairie boys’ golf team tees off the week with a trip tomorrow to Tipton in a dual meet. On Tuesday, the Golden Hawks will host an invitational at the Kalona Golf Club. Teams participating in the meet are Durant, North Cedar, Iowa City Regina, West Branch, West Liberty, Wilton, Iowa Mennonite School, Mount Vernon, and Winfield-Mt. Union.

The Mid-Prairie girls’ golf team will stay home tomorrow against Tipton at the Kalona Golf Club. On Wednesday, they will host a triangular meet with Wilton and West Branch.
