The Keokuk County Sheriff’s Office is investigating multiple break-ins that occurred early Saturday morning. Authorities received reports of burglaries during the overnight hours at Mike’s Parts and Service and Richland Vet Clinic in Richland and at Hedrick City Hall.

According to Mayor of Hedrick, Robert Crawford, the individuals responsible forced their way into city hall and stole stamps and a small amount of cash. He adds in the last few months, four-wheelers and a trailer have been stolen within city limits, and a stock car was taken from a homeowner’s driveway.

Anyone with information that could help with the investigation is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 641-622-2727.
