Looking ahead at this week’s events for Mid-Prairie sports.

The Mid-Prairie boys’ soccer team (0-3) comes into this week dropping in the rankings from number 10 to number 13. They will first take on the Williamsburg Raiders on Monday. The game will take place at 4:30 p.m. at the Williamsburg Athletic Complex. Their next matchup will be on Friday, as they travel to Columbus to take on the Wildcats. The game will start at 7 p.m. in Columbus.

The Mid-Prairie girls’ soccer team has just one game this week. They will travel to Monticello on Monday to play the Panthers. Game will take place at 4:30 p.m.

The Mid-Prairie boys’ golf team will play at home to start the week. They will host on Iowa City Regina for a dual meet. The match will begin a 4 p.m. at the Kalona Golf Club. On Tuesday, they will participate in a tournament in Durant against Columbus, North Cedar, Solon, Tipton, West Branch, West Liberty, Williamsburg , Wilton and Winfield-Mount Union. The tournament begins at 6:30 p.m. in Durant.

The Mid-Prairie girls’ golf team will start the week playing on the road, as they travel to Iowa City to take on the Regals. The match will begin tomorrow at 3 p.m. in Iowa City. On Thursday, the Golden Hawks will have a home invitational, hosting the West Branch Bears. The invitational begins at 12:30 p.m. at the Kalona Golf Club.

The Mid-Prairie boys’ and girls’ track teams will host a co-ed meet on Tuesday. The meet will begin at 5 p.m. in Wellman. The girls will have one more track meet this week, on Thursday they will host another track meet with Columbus, Fairfield, H-L-V, Mediapolis, Montezuma , Pekin, Solon, Wapello, West Branch, West Liberty,and Wilton competing at the event. The meet will begin at 5 p.m.
