Two KCII area schools from the South Iowa Cedar League are set to open up the golf seasons against one another this afternoon. The Keota Eagle boys’ and girls’ golf teams open their season at Lagos Arces Golf Course against the Sigourney Savages.

Keota golf coach Rod Hill brings a record number of golfers into the season, having 15 boys and six girls out for the team. Eleven of Keota’s 15 boys’ golfers are underclassman.

The Eagles and Savages are set to tee off at 4:15 p.m. at Lagos Arces Golf Course in Keota.
