Former Washington high school football players interested in playing in the second alumni football game are asked to attend an informational meeting tomorrow afternoon.

Alumni Football USA is hosting the second annual Washington versus Mount Pleasant Alumni Football game on Saturday, June 13, in Mount Pleasant. An informational meeting about the game Sunday at 3 p.m. at Unc and Neph’s in Washington.

The meeting will go over the rules for the game as well as set the first practice for the Washington team. The game is seen as a fundraiser for the schools, with Washington raising over $7,000 dollars for the schools during last year’s battle.

Mount Pleasant won the inaugural alumni game 21-20 at Case Field last June.
