Two students from Riverside are receiving a scholarship from a state organization. Sixteen scholarships are being awarded to future and current college students through the Iowa Corn Future of Agriculture Scholarship program. The scholarships go to individuals who are pursuing degrees related to agriculture, and are members of the Iowa Corn Growers Association or a dependent of a member. Macy Marek and Lexi Marek of Riverside will be recognized and awarded the $500 scholarships at the Iowa Corn Annual Meeting in August.
