The search is on for the best burger in Iowa. The sixth annual contest hosted by the Iowa Beef Industry Council and the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association is being held to find the best burger in the state. Iowans are encouraged to nominate their favorite burger by mail, text message or online. The entries for the contest must be 100 percent beef burgers.
Last year over 9,600 nominations for 456 restaurants were received. In 2013, a southeast Iowa restaurant won the title – it was 61 Chop House Grille in Mediapolis.
