Yesterday, the Washington County Board of Supervisors approved a budget amendment for the 2014-2015 fiscal year. Deputy Auditor Michelle Hyman called it housekeeping items and explained $162,000 went to the new ambulance, $22,000 was spent on panic buttons, $4,500 went ot bat control in the courthouse, $64,000 was spent regarding the TIF district and legal fees, and $58,000 was moved for the special assessment for septic systems. Also, some Public Health grants were factored in to the amendment.

The amendment was approved without opposition; one abstention was recognized, as Supervisor Richard Young also serves as the director of Washington County Ambulance and the new ambulance was part of the resolution.
