The Iowa Mennonite School girls’ basketball team (3-16) will look to break their eight-game losing streak tonight as they take on Southeast Iowa Super Conference opponent the Lone Tree Lions (7-12).
IMS has struggled to get the ball through the hoop averaging just 31.2 points per game. They are led by senior Riley Schmeider who averages nearly half the team’s points with 13.1 points per game is shooting 41.4 percent from the field.
For the Lions, this is their last regular season game before they enter post-season play. Lone Tree is currently on a three-game winning streak averaging 34.2 points per game. They are led on offense by sophomore Madison Forbes who averages 10.1 points per game.
