Fiber Arts February is underway at the Washington Public Library. A variety of programs are planned, starting with a macrame bracelet workshop and Sticks and Strings meeting tomorrow at 7 p.m. Debbie Stanton, director of the library, explains the programs have had high attendance in the past and they hope to see the same this year. Other programs include a wrapping and coiling workshop, creating felt creatures, and a hand sewing folk birds workshop. Stanton adds these are for all ages and skill levels, with local instructors.
