Yesterday, Washington received approximately an inch of snow. Also, a rollover car accident was reported. One rollover happened near Hills on Highway 218, the car reportedly flipped several times and landed in a snowbank. Washington County Ambulance located the vehicle and assisted the patient until Johnson County authorities arrived.
From Saturday, January 31st, to Tuesday morning, the Iowa State Patrol responded to 273 crashes across the state. In addition during the weekend snowstorm, the department also responded to 872 calls for motorist assists.
