The Iowa Humane Alliance is teaming up with PAWS and More Animal Shelter to hold a workshop about trap, neuter and release for community cat colonies. Amber Talbot explains the meeting will discuss how to care for feral cats and how to maintain a healthy population. With live traps the shelter will help capture feral cats, have them spayed or neutered and get a rabies shot to keep the population healthy and under control.
The event will be held February 28th at the Washington Public Library from 1 to 3 p.m. For more information listen to today’s Washington Page.
