The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk (10-10) wrestling team will head to Northeast High School in Goose Lake tonight for their final regualr season dual meet. Teams particpating in the triangular are Northeast Gooselake (1-17) and Durant (3-16).
Mid-Prairie wrestling coach Justin Garvey says even though they haven’t competed against these schools this year they should have success, “Two schools we haven’t seen at all this year in our travels. However, we’ve got a couple of good guys in some weights. Overall we have the stronger team and we should come away with two dual wins.”
Getting two wins for the Golden Hawks would put them over .500 in dual wins for the season.
The match will begin at 6 p.m. tonight at Northeast High School in Goose Lake.
