The spring term at the Kirkwood Washington Regional Center with concurrent credit academies for high school students and traditional college courses will begin Tuesday, January 20th. Tera Pickens, director of the center, explains they hope high school students have been using their extra time productively since high school classes started earlier this month, for example by filling out scholarship applications.
She adds while spring term is less than a week away, now is the time for students to consider courses for the fall term. Pickens says there will be informational sessions scheduled in the coming months for parents and high school students. For more information listen to today’s Washington Page.
