The Mid-Prairie girls basketball team played at home last night against Wilton. It was a game heard on AM 1380 FM 102.5 and on KCIIradio.com. The girls would dominate the game against Wilton winning with a score of 60-26.
The Lady Hawks allowed only seven points all of the first half with the halftime score 22-7. In the third quarter the Lady Hawks would only give up five points making the score 40-12. In the fourth quarter both teams took advantage put their bench players in the game to get varsity experience.
Mid-Prairie’s defense shutdown Wilton’s best offensive player in Austin Grace for most of the game going three and half quarters without scoring a single point. On offense Ali Riggan had her best game of the year scoring 12 points with nine of those points coming from three point range. Senior Chelsea Bowlin came off the bench and scored 10 points.
