The Iowa Department of Natural Resources recently shared how many hunting and fishing licenses were purchased by Iowans in 2014. According to the state department, hunters purchased around 19,000 licenses for the late deer muzzleloader season. That season ends today. The information that was released also showed that over 35,000 annual hunting licenses and nearly 74,000 hunting and habitat combination licenses were purchased by hunters in Iowa last year.
