Both the Mid-Prairie boys and girls basketball teams took the long trip to Bellevue on Saturday. The girls would take the victory improving their record to 6-4 with a score of 49-42. The Lady Hawks got another solid performance from senior Taylor Kurtz with 13 points and seven rebounds. Sophomore Ireland Hostetler also finished the game with nine points.
The Mid-Prairie boys didn’t fare as well in their game against Bellevue. They would lose with a score of 49-42 with a record of now 0-9. The Golden Hawks got a great performance by Nolan Faselt who finished the game with 20 points. Sophomore Isiahan Powell got 13 points to finish out the game.
