Eighty new coats were donated to HACAP, Hawkeye Area Community Action Program, for area children. The donation was made by the Rotary Club of Washington, which raised over $1,100 to purchase the coats. The Rotary District partnered with Operation Warm – Coats for Kids Foundation for the project. A variety of colors and youth sizes of coats will be distributed through the Washington Community School District by HACAP.
