The Washington Chamber of Commerce is going ‘mad with savings’ this week as part of Moonlight Madness. For four hours Thursday evening businesses in downtown Washington will have specials. Dani Kane, Assistant Director of the Washington Chamber of Commerce, explains the retail event runs from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Also, Thursday night JP’s 207 will host a costume party for area teenagers.

Kane adds events on Halloween have expanded to include pony rides, a fortune teller, hay rack rides, games, Trick-or-Treat around the square and more. Halloween activities kick off at 5 p.m. Friday and in the event of bad weather activities will move into the YMCA. For more information listen to today’s Washington Page.
