A local volleyball team is advancing to the second round of the playoffs. The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks swept Albia at home last night, and will now go on the road to take on West Liberty Thursday.

Five other area volleyball teams begin their playoff run tonight. Keota is facing Montezuma, Winfield-Mt. Union will take on Sigourney and Lone Tree has been paired up with Iowa Mennonite School. Listen to the KCII Sports Page or click here for results.
