Several KCII area cross country teams will run the final regular season race of the season this afternoon in Ottumwa.
Pekin High School is hosting the Class 1 state qualifying meet at Wildwood Park in Ottumwa. The schools competing in the meet include: Cardinal, Colfax-Mingo, Colo-Nesco, Columbus Community, Grand View Christian School, Harmony, Holy Trinity, Keota, Lynnville-Sully, Maharishi, Moravia, Mormon Trail (Boys only), North Mahaska, Pekin, Pleasantville, Seymor, Sigourney, Southeast Warren, Tri-County Thronburg, Twin Cedars, Van Buren, WACO, Wapello, Wayne, West Marshall, and Winfield-Mount Union.
In order to extend their season one more race, teams will have to finish in the top three, while individual runners need to finish in 10th place or better.
