The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks cross country team will be looking to extend their season this afternoon.

The Golden Hawks will be competing in the Class 2A state qualifying meet at Columbus Junction. Among the schools competing in the meet include: Anamosa, Camanche, Central Lee, Danville, Louisa-Muscatine, Mediapolis, Montecello, North Cedar, Northeast, Notre Dame, Springfield, Tipton, and West Liberty. In order to extend the season one more race, teams will have to finish in the top three, while individual runners need to finish in 10th place or better.
