For a second straight week, the Columbus Community football team is making a Friday roadtrip. The Wildcats are traveling to Pella this evening for a district matchup with the Pella Christian Eagles.
Last week, Columbus Community visited Iowa City Regina. The Wildcats couldn’t get their offense going in a 52-6 loss to the Regals. For Pella Christian, they were also on the road last Friday as they traveled to Highland. The Eagles spoiled the Huskies’ homecoming celebration in a 43-28 win.
Columbus Community junior Mauricio Ramirez could hit a season milestone this evening. The Wildcats’ starting running back is 133 rushing yards away from 1,000 yards this season.
