Two KCII area teams looking to start new winning streaks met Thursday evening in Wayland.

The WACO Warriors welcomed in the Iowa Mennonite School for a Southeast Iowa Super Conference match. The Warriors would prove to be too much, defeating IMS in four games (25-16, 18-25, 25-22, 25-20). The victory pushes WACO’s overall record above .500 at 10-9, while the loss drops the Iowa Mennonite School to 5-20.

WACO will be back in action Tuesday as they will travel to Pekin to take on the Panthers. Iowa Mennonite School will return to the court Tuesday as they host the Wapello Arrows.
