The Sigourney-Keota Cobras will hit the road this evening, looking to even their 2014 overall record.
The 2-3 Cobras return to district play this evening as they will face the 1-4 Eddyville-Blakesburg Rockets. The Cobras gave up 18 unanswered points over the final 13 minutes of last Friday’s 38-20 loss to Mid-Prairie. Junior Peyton Crawford leads the Cobra offense with 892 yards of total offense (676 rushing, 154 receiving, 62 passing), and has scored nine total touchdowns.
The Rockets have struggled to put up points during the 2014 season. Eddyville-Blakesburg has scored a combined 14 points in their four losses this season including just eight points in their blowout loss to Pella Christian. The Rockets put up 36 points in their lone victory this season against West Marshall back on September 12th.
