Four candidates are seeking the position of Secretary of State of Iowa this election cycle. The current Secretary of State Matt Schultz is not seeking reelection for the role but instead is running for Madison County Attorney after losing in the primary in June for congress.
KCII News recently spoke with Brad Anderson who is running to fill the role of Secretary of State. Anderson states he is running an issue-oriented campaign aimed at increasing voter turn out and modernize the office which will make it easier for small business owners to file.
